Thiagarajar School of Management welcomes their new batch of budding managers with a splendid fresher’s party- SANGAMAM meaning “Coming together”. The event is named in such a way to instigate the confluence between the seniors and juniors and to build a good rapport. Sangamam is the culmination of joint efforts of both MBA and PGDM seniors. The event is inaugurated with the lighting of lamp by the Director and the faculty and is followed by dance, singing and mime shows from different clubs of Thiagarajar School of Management to entertain our beloved juniors. The event then takes a turn to more fun filled activities and small games for the juniors to engage and elate them. After a sumptuous dinner, Mr.Sangamam and Mrs.Sangamam are awarded their distinct titles. The event comes to a closure with a DJ night filled with fun and dance. It is one memorable day for every TSMite to relish, an opportunity for seniors to showcase their benevolence and for the juniors their ardent.
The gesture of bidding goodbye to academic life has been made beautiful to all TSMites by the beaming Farewell party- SAYANORA. Sayonara is being conducted by the collaborative efforts of MBA and PGDM juniors honoring their venerated seniors. They welcome the seniors with a promise of making the day memorable. The seniors dressed in their finery are entertained by dance, drama, music and surprise events by the juniors. The juniors build a memory tree, where the seniors post their unforgettable and their most relished memory. With the memory tree as a cauldron of memories, photo booths and lights rope in seniors to get them clicked with their favorite bunch. After a wonderful meal, the seniors are gifted with a splendid memento as a symbol of recognition from their juniors.
SAYANORA – A moment for juniors to express their gratitude and the seniors their accomplishment

The lastedition of YUKTIcomprised of11 management events and 9 cultural events which were framed and designed supporting the theme of sustainable growth in business and community. The events aredesigned to encourage the real talents. The events run under the shadow of sponsorships provided by prestigious businesses. Some of the regular sponsors include TVS TYRES, BPCL, Hi-Tech Arai Ltd, Aparajitha, SVS group of companies, Anjali Oil Brand, etc.
The participants of YUKTI for each eventwill be evaluated by set external judges and internal judges in fair and square manner without any bias. We believethe participants will have a very good experience here, in YUKTI’19. It will take days to speak about our last four months effort and especially the two days operational schedules. Our earlier editions of YUKTI had very great eminent speakers who have inaugurated the event with their inspirational speeches. One of the major attractions of YUKTI is that, it is completely a student driven event, through which they prove their responsibilities across different verticals of the event. The event mainly bridges the theory learning in classrooms to a practical applications, one of the big examples is that students prepare a service blueprint for YUKTI, which has received great appreciations from our earlier guests.
Overall, we believe this contest will bring a great learning for the student community with a passion and acumen to win amidst a healthy competition.
