Biography<gwmw style=”display:none;”>

A versatile educator with a rich academic experience of over three decades teaching in prestigious colleges and universities, Dr Denisia is one of the most decorated and accomplished professors who serves at TSM. With her positive outlook, innovative approach to pedagogy and exemplary skill and experience of handling students, she carries out her responsibilities of Educational Administrator impeccably. She has served TSM in the capacity of Head of the Department of Women’s Studies for the past 15 years.

An enthusiastic and lifelong learner, she is passionate enough to research on numerous subjects. Over the years, she has taken up projects funded by various organizations, enabling her to learn, and share her learning with others. Her efficient services are much sought after within TSM and outside, and she has served as a member of the Board of studies, Academic Councils, Governing Bodies, Staff a number of Colleges and Universities. She has also been widely recognized for her stellar work as an author and editor, and gained acclaim for her numerous publications. She has edited over 10 books, and several conference proceedings. Additionally, she has skilfully organized 13 seminars, 3 workshops, 14 Training programmes and 3 Exhibitions at the State, National and International level. Furthermore, she has participated in over 50 seminars and 24 workshops, where she has presented her papers and research work. She is the accomplished author of over 10 books and 32 journal articles and 4 magazine articles. She has been invited to officiate as the chief resource person in over 50 academic and social forums. She has guided over 10 scholars to their doctorates in Education, serving as their Research Supervisor, and a further 5 students are currently under her wing. Her dedication and excellence have been amply rewarded and appreciated. The Tamil Nadu Educational Research Development Institute conferred the State level ‘Best Teacher Award’ in the year 2015 on Dr Denisia. She currently handles Soft Skills and Managerial Communication Training for MBA and PGDM students at TSM.
