About this Event
The Centre of Excellence extended its financial literacy mission to grassroots communities through its outreach sessions. The session hld on September 6, 2026 reached 20+ housewives and unorganised sector working women at Pamban Nagar Colony. The sessions focused on building practical money-management skills for everyday life through interactive discussions and fun activity-based games that made complex financial concepts simple and relatable. Topics covered included budget planning, smart saving habits, emergency funds, safe savings options, insurance awareness, responsible borrowing and EMI awareness. Special and equal emphasis was placed on cyber scam awareness, equipping participants to identify, avoid and report digital frauds, attacks and online financial scams that increasingly target vulnerable communities.
