    Biography

    Dr. Suram Balasubrahmanyam is a PhD in strategic management from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He is a post-doctoral fellow from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. He has been a faculty at Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode during 2011-2024.

    He has taught various courses viz., Strategic Management, Strategic Management of Innovation, Management of Technology and Innovation, Strategic Flexibility & Resource Leverage in Organizations, Strategic Alliances & Joint Ventures, Business Models for the 21st Century and Dynamic Capabilities of Organizations to PGP, EPGP, PhD and PhD-PT students at IIM Kozhikode. He has conducted MDPs for organizations such as IOCL, NTPC, NHPC, ECIL and Indian Army. He took sessions in multiple FDPs as well.

    His research areas include Strategic Flexibility, Resource Leverage, Technology & Innovation and Dynamic Capabilities, Strategic Renewal of Organizations. He has published in reputed international journals such as Global Journal of Flexible Systems Management and Benchmarking: An International Journal. He has presented his research in various national and international conferences. He has published cases in Richard Ivey and IIM Kozhikode. His book entitled MATHEMATICS & STATISTICS FOR MANAGEMENT (Vikas Publishing House) has been recognized as a standard reference in various universities. The annual royalties of this book go as philanthropic donation to Yogoda Satsang Society of India, Ranchi every year throughout its lifetime.
