Dr Mutharasi has 16 years of academic and administrative experience and is currently Associate Professor & Controller of Examinations. Earlier, she was the Management Representative for ISO 9001:2008 certification and institutionalized quality systems and plans in TSM. Prior to joining TSM she was with the ICFAI group of institutions.
Her doctoral research is in Organizational Citizenship Behaviour and she teaches courses in Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, Strategic Human Resource Management, Managerial Communication and Positive Psychological Capital.
She has trained Postmasters and employees of India Post in the Central Government Project Arrow and has conducted Management Development Programmes in areas like Talent Management, Leadership, Change Management, Conflict management, Managerial Communication and Inter-personal effectiveness for Southern Petrochemical Industries Corporation (SPIC), CII–Madurai, Aparajitha, Hitech Arai, TVS Group of Companies, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), Apollo Hospitals and TamilNadu Government Schools. She was involved in consulting assignments with TVS Rubber and Loyal textiles.
