    What Is The Flagship Programme Offered ?

    The PGDM programme is the flagship programme and as such great effort has gone into planning the curriculum of this programme. PGDM programme is benchmarked with the PGDM programmes of Top B-School in India . The PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) Programme is a 2-year full-time residential programme approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). PGDM’s equivalence with MBA is certified by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

    What Is The Difference Between PGDM & MBA?

    MBA programme is a quality Management Programme at par with those of AICTE approved B-schools across the country. It is approved by AICTE and affiliated to the Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU). PGDM programme is a high-end Management Programme benchmarked entirely on the best of B-schools of India . The programme is approved by AICTE and equivalence with MBA is certified by Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Needless to state, the PGDM programme enjoys the same acceptance by industry and academia alike, as the traditional MBA programme. Certain distinguishing features of the PGDM programme are:

    • PGDM offers more flexibility in curriculum design and autonomy than MBA
    • Larger number of core and elective courses.
    • Focus on development of soft and communication skills.
    • Three-month summer internship to ensure better employability (2-months for MBA).
    • Higher usage of Harvard Business School Cases.
    • Overseas educational tour to Singapore/Dubai /Srilanka excessively for PGDM Programme for which the cost is included in the fee of 11.5 Lakhs
    • PGDM Fee 11.5 Lakh /MBA Fee 10.5 Lakh (for 2 yrs including food ,hostel ,book and study material)
    • The merit based scholarship is offered ONLY for PGDM Students

    Is It Mandatory To Have Work Experience For The PGDM/MBA Programme?

    No. It is NOT mandatory or a prerequisite to have work experience for PGDM/MBA programme. However, work experience after graduation (if any, after B.Tech./B.Sc./B.Com. etc.,) will be given additional weightage while shortlisting students for both PGDM and MBA programme.

    What Admission Test Scores Are Used?

    Test scores in CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA taken in May 2023 or later will be considered. If the candidate has written multiple tests, the BEST TEST SCORE after moderation will be considered for evaluation. Applicants are advised to submit all their test scores.

    What Are The Specializations Offered By TSM?

    A student can choose a bouquet of electives from the following streams: Finance, Marketing, Human Resource, Operations, Business Analytics and Systems. Dual specialization is possible and in fact is encouraged.

    Do PGDM Students Have The Same Placement Prospects As MBA Students?

    Yes. ALL companies who visit TSM for final placement look at both our PGDM and MBA students.

    Does TSM Offer Scholarships?

    Merit and Need based scholarships will be offered to a limited number of candidates with outstanding performance in the entire selection process. The merit based scholarship is offered ONLY for PGDM Students

    Is Staying In Hostels Compulsory?

    Yes, it is a completely residential programme. In order to facilitate group efforts, regular group interactions as well as library-referenced study, all students are required to stay in the campus hostels. On-campus separate hostels for male and female students with Wi-Fi and computer connectivity ensure that you make the most of your time. As you work in groups, you get to develop interpersonal skills and build a network of relationships that would last a life-time.

    What Kind Of Exposure Students Get?

    The students are exposed to club activities, intra-college fest (Levitate), inter-bschool activities, research paper work guided by the respective faculty member, live projects, quizzes, guest lectures, industrial visits, outbound training and sports activities that add to their corporate learning.
