The Workshop has been designed to provide an opportunity for Management teachers to acquaint themselves with recent developments in case teaching and research methods. The communication workshop is built around case based role plays and assignments on writing skills. The program intended to refine the participant‘s skill in public speaking and making effective presentations and a sound infra-structure. The workshop seeks to strengthen the professional and academic effectiveness of the participants with structured inputs on recent developments in case teaching and research methods and faculty communication in a variety of situations.The resource persons for the program have rich experience as Management Teachers in Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA), the prestigious B school of the country.The sessions on mechanisms of case based teaching, deconstructing a case for class handling, case teaching in class and writing a case study were handled by Prof. Dixit and Prof. Venkiteswaran. Dr. Monippally handled the sessions on communicate with maximum effectiveness – peers, students & administrative staff, analytical way of writing for management teachers, non-verbal communication and persuasion tactics.
