‘TSM Elevate’ – TSM Alumni Chennai Chapter Initiation Meeting.
The event, held on may 11, 2024 @ Fortel Hotel, Chennai brought together alumni from BFSI who engaged in enriching discussion and networking. More than 50 alumni participated in the event, with an average experience of 8.6 years (ranging from 1 year to 42 years). It was heartening to experience energy, enthusiasm and joyful homecoming of our alumni.
Key Highlights:
1.Welcome Address was delivered by Dr. M. Balaji. He stressed on the importance of alumni to any institution. He also added on the benefits that the students will gain when Alumni come in touch back with the institution.
2.Keynote Address was delivered by Smt. S. Meenakshi, TSM batch of 1990, who spoke about the career opportunities in the PSUs.
3.Panel Discussion: Three Eminent Alumni, Mr. Saravanan Kandan, Head – Treasury, Sammunati, TSM batch of 2002; Mr. M. Rojarajan, DVP – Federal Bank, TSM batch of 2008; and Mr. N. Manoj Kumar, AVP-HR Barclays Bank, TSM batch of 2009 provided valuable insights into emerging trends and challenges within the industry. The session was moderated by Dr. P. Sivapragasam.
4.Networking: Alumni had the opportunity to forge new connections and strengthen existing relationships during the networking session.
5.Dr. N. Manjula and Dr. B. Nataraj addressed the gathering and indicated the possibility of coordination between Alumni & TSM in the areas of admission and MDP programs.
