    Biography

    Dr. K. Mathiyazhagan is the Chairperson – Research Centre and Associate Professor, Thiagarajar School of Management, Madurai, Tamil Nadu. He is an assistant editor in Technological Forecasting and Social Change (Elsevier) -IF: 12.9 & ABDC-A, associate editor in Business Strategy and the Environment (Wiley) – IF: 12.5 & ABDC-A, Journal of Knowledge Management (Emerald) – IF – 6.6 & ABDC-A, Management Decision (Emerald)- IF: 4.1 & ABDC-B and Environment, Development and Sustainability Journal (Springer) – IF: 4.7. He is a leading guest editor of special issues in Journal of Business Logistics (JBL), the International Journal of Physical Distribution & Logistics Management (IJPDLM), the International Journal of Logistics Management (IJLM), Sustainable Production and Consumption (Elsevier), Socio-Economic Planning Science (Elsevier).

    He has also been an editorial member in many reputed journals. Also, he has been listed among the Top 2% of scientists (Stanford’s list World’s Top 2% of scientists). He has published in numerous journals, including IJPE, IJPR, PPC, IEEE TEM, JCP, RCR, etc., with more than 7000 research citations. Emerald Publisher Ltd awarded one of his papers the Excellence Citation Award. In addition, he edited international books on Blockchain & Lean-Green & Society 4.0 & Sustainable HRM in Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, Emerald, Wiley, and Springer publishers.

    He was invited in the capacity of keynote speaker/resource person in international conferences & workshops by pioneer national & international institutions (UK, Poland, Italy, China) with inviting university full sponsorship. He is an active reviewer of more than 30 reputed international journals, receiving the best reviewer certificates for exceptional review reports.

    He has organized two international conferences and workshops. Also, he has edited many international conference proceedings by Springer Publishers. His research interests include Green and Sustainable Supply Chain Management; Multi-Criteria Decision Making; Sustainable Lean Manufacturing, Public Distribution System; Lean Six Sigma. Recently, he has received a grant from AICTE for two ATAL FDP for conducting FDPs on Six Sigma in Quality Management, and Circular Economy and Business Models to Achieve Sustainable Development Goals. He is a visiting faculty at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Italy. He supervised more than 10 undergraduates, 3 postgraduates and 3 Ph.D. scholars. He has more than 10 years of research and teaching experience with many accolades.
