Dr. Mutharasi P

Dr. Mutharasi P is a distinguished academic with over 20 years of experience in teaching, executive education, academic leadership, research, and industry engagement. Her areas of expertise include Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, Managerial Communication, and Positive Psychological Capital (PsyCap).

Her academic and executive education experience includes designing and facilitating high-impact Management Development Programmes (MDPs) for professionals across manufacturing, healthcare, education, public services, and other sectors. Her training portfolio covers Team Building, Talent Management, Attitude Development, Personality Development, Leadership, Change Management, Conflict Management, Managerial Communication, and Interpersonal Effectiveness.

Her research interests focus on Positive Psychological Capital, Employee Well-being, Technostress, and Employee Thriving in digitally transformed organizations. She is currently guiding three PhD scholars working on contemporary issues in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management, with an emphasis on understanding how employees and organizations can thrive amid changing workplace demands.

Over the years, Dr. Mutharasi has designed and delivered executive training programmes for reputed organizations including Southern Petrochemical Industries Corporation (SPIC), CII–Madurai, Aparajitha, Hi-Tech Arai, TVS Group of Companies, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), Aravind Eye Hospital, Apollo Hospitals, Triveni School, and Tamil Nadu Government Schools. She has also trained Postmasters and employees of India Post under the Central Government's Project Arrow initiative.

Her engagement with industry extends beyond executive training to consulting assignments with organizations such as TVS Rubber and Loyal Textile Mills Ltd., strengthening the connection between academic knowledge and organizational practice.

At the institutional level, Dr. Mutharasi contributes to academic governance, accreditation, curriculum development, and executive education, while serving as Associate Professor and Controller of Examinations at Thiagarajar School of Management. Her professional journey reflects a strong commitment to developing people, strengthening organizations, and translating behavioural research into meaningful workplace outcomes.
